Masters Take on Europe

Our fantastic masters swimmers are heading to London this week to take on Europe's best masters swimmers in the LEN European Masters Championships and we are thrilled to announce that our 15 strong team is being supported by Delta-Simons

More Masters Success

A team of 14 masters competed in the first Grantham Master’s Open Meet on Sunday 24th April. Twenty clubs from as far away as Southport and Brighton were represented and we had by far the most swimmers. The final scores of the top 5 teams were as follows;

Notts Leander 165

Deepings 157

Louth 72

Prizes were awarded for the top swimmer in each age group category and our age group winners were Chloe James, Kistie Smith, Sarah Hoof, Suzy Hegg and Sue Hollick. In the men’s Stuart Hamer, Mark Speed, Andy Johnson and Ian Urquart.

Macmillan Get Active Challengers Take on the Masters

Macmillan Cancer Support physical activity practitioners Aaron Hall and Fiona Roche took on the challenge of a Pentaqua Masters Session on the 24th March as part of their challenge to take on a sports challenge a month to highlight the benefits of physical activity to people living with or recovering from cancer.  Before the starting the session with our Masters squad Fiona and Aaron took a few minutes to talk to the group about their project and the work of Macmillan, they also met our very own Macmillan fundraisers Katie Gilman-Abel and Andy Mosley and had time to pause for a quick photo before starting their beasting...
